Medical supplies for refugee camps

I recently spoke with a nurse who had come from Thailand, working in the refugee camps. She now works in a hospital in Melbourne, and was telling me how many medical supplies are often thrown away, due to nearing use by dates, or damaged packaging. She spoke of how desperate the clinics in Thailand are for medical supplies, such as gloves, syringes, first aid kits, and wound care kits, to name a few.

As a result, I have been taking donations of some items from medical clinics and hospitals in Melbourne to make up packs for the refugee camp clinics. We will keep helping in whatever way we can.
